EURO TITLE RETAINED

On Saturday 12th August 2017, James took part in the European Final taking place at Hertingen, Germany as the British made history.

He blitzed through the qualifying heats with a 4-ride maximum, earning himself a place straight into the nights 'Winner-Takes-All' A Final. In the final, he was joined by fellow Brits, Andrew Appleton and Eddie Kennett, Hynek Stichauer (Czech Republic), Stephan Katt and Christian Hülshorst (Germany).

James won the final, he is now the only British rider to have won the European title twice, and was joined by Appleton in 2nd and Kennett in 3rd.
